Overview

The Volvo S80 AWD last had a manufacturer update on 10/10/2006. Volvo brings the S80 back completely redesigned for 2007. Available in 2WD or AWD, Volvo's luxury sedan has new powertrain choices, added amenities, and enhanced safety. Both the interior and exterior have also been revamped. The S80 is now powered by a either a 235-hp 3.2L in-line six-cylinder engine or a 4.4L V8 engine boasting 311 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. New features for this year include adaptive cruise control, a Dynaudio premium sound system, and the Personal Car Communicator (PCC). Safety has been bolstered on the S80 with equipment such as the Blindspot Information System (BLIS), Collision Warning and Brake Support (CWBS), and added frontal impact protection. The Volvo S80 AWD was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
