Overview

The Pontiac Torrent FWD last had a manufacturer update on 03/26/2007. Pontiac's small crossover SUV enters 2007 with numerous changes, including several safety enhancements, new equipment, and new exterior colors. The Torrent, available in FWD and AWD configurations, boasts a 185-hp 3.4L V6 engine coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission. Safety revisions include a passenger sensing system, rollover sensor, StabliTrak, a tire pressure monitoring system, and an improved theft-deterrent alarm. Three new exterior paint choices have also been offered for this year: Granite Gray, Sonoma Red, and Liquid Silver. New available equipment includes a remote start, an electronic driver information center, and chrome clad and plated wheels. The Pontiac Torrent FWD was introduced in 2006 and is scheduled to be retired in 2010.
