Overview
The Pontiac G6 GTP last had a manufacturer update on 05/21/2007. The G6 returns for 2007 available in sedan, coupe, and convertible bodystyles, and in several trims: 1SV, 1SA, GT, and GTP. Engine choices include the base 2.4L I-4, the 3.5L V6, the 227-hp 3.9L V6, or the new GTP 3.6L DOHC V6, which produces 252 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. Other GTP enhancements include the new six-speed automatic transmission, 18-inch painted alloy wheels, dual chrome exhaust tips, a rear spoiler, and an XM satellite radio. The optional Premium Package includes remote control engine start, heated front seats, leather seating, and front and rear floor mats. Other options on the G6 include side air bags, interior simulated wood trim, power-adjustable pedals, and panoramic roof. The Pontiac G6 GTP was introduced in 2005; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
