Overview
Jeep's small sport utility enters 2007 with only minor changes and is available in several trims: Sport, Renegade (late-entry), and Limited, all in either 2WD or 4WD. The Liberty is powered by a 210- hp 3.7L V6 engine couple to either a standard five-speed manual transmission or optional four-speed automatic transmission. New for 2007, all models now feature a passenger side grab handle. The Renegade also receives new rock rail protection and black bodyside molding for this year. Rounding off the list of changes are two new exterior colors, Deep Molten Red and Timberline Green. Available options on the Liberty include silver aluminum wheels, side impact airbags, power glass moonroof, front fog lights, a mini-overhead console, and an Off-Road Group. The Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD saw minor changes in 2005, and is expected to be redesigned in 2008.
