Overview
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 05/23/2007. Jeep's flagship sport utility storms into 2007 with quite a few key changes, but is again available in several trims: Laredo, Limited, Overland, and SRT-8. The Grand Cherokee will be the first diesel-powered large SUV to be offered in the US, boasting a 3.0L common rail turbo diesel (CRD) engine. Even though this engine produces 215 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque, it has a 30 percent fuel economy improvement over last years powertrain. Option package and features have been simplified for 2007 as well. Jeep also offers several new amenities for this year, including a ParkView rear backup camera and remote start. Rounding off the changes, the Grand Cherokee receives a freshened interior and exterior. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD was last redesigned in 2005; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
