Overview
The Jeep Commander Limited 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 05/23/2007. The Commander expands its line-up for 2007 with the addition of the high-end Overland trim. The Base and Limited trims return and all trims are offered in both 2WD or 4WD configurations. Jeep's midsize SUV features a power liftgate, an optional 4.7L flex fuel engine, electronic throttle control on the 3.7L engine, and a larger fuel tank than the previous year. The Overland boasts a 5.7L Hemi engine, active turn signals, chrome tow hooks, SmartBeam headlights, a ParkView rear camera system, and a restyled exterior look with platinum moldings and accents. Rounding off the list of changes are a host of new exterior colors: Jeep Green, Light Graystone, Mineral Gray, Red Rock Crystal, and Steel Blue. The Jeep Commander Limited 4WD was introduced in 2006 and is scheduled to be retired in 2009.
