Overview
The GMC Envoy Denali 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 03/19/2007. The 2007 GMC Envoy is available in short and long wheelbase (XL) and comes in 2WD, 4WD, or AWD (Denali). Available trims include SLE, SLT, and Denali. The standard engine on the SLE and SLT trims is a 291 horsepower 4.2L inline six-cylinder engine while the Denali trim comes equipped with a Displacement on Demand (DOD) 5.3L V8 engine generating 300 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque. GM's Displacement on Demand (DOD) technology enables fuel economy gains of up to 5 percent in certain light-load driving conditions by reducing the number of cylinders engaged in the combustion process. Standard safety features include dual-stage front air bags, passenger sensing air bag cut-off system, and LATCH child safety seat anchors. Front and rear head curtain air bags are also available as an option. The GMC Envoy Denali 4WD was introduced in 2002; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
