Overview

The Ford Ranger Regular Cab XL 4WD Short Bed last had a manufacturer update on 04/30/2007. The 2007 Ford Ranger is available in a variety of trims, drive, and body configurations, including several trim levels: XL, STX, XLT, Sport, FX4, and FX4 Level II, and three cab choices: Regular and SuperCab in two door or four door configurations. Engine choices on the Ranger include a 143 horsepower 2.3L four-cylinder engine, a 148 horsepower 3.0L V6 engine, or a 4.0L V-6 engine that generates 207 horsepower and 238 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic transmission. Safety features include front and rear anti-lock brakes, dual front airbags and a tire pressure monitoring system. Optional packages available on the Ranger include a Bright Trim Package and a XLT 2WD Appearance Package. The Ford Ranger Regular Cab XL 4WD Short Bed was last redesigned in 1998 and is scheduled to be retired in 2008.
