Overview
The Ford Five Hundred Limited AWD last had a manufacturer update on 12/26/2006. The Ford Five Hundred returns for 2007 offered in four models: SEL and Limited in either 2WD or AWD configurations. All models are powered by a 3.0L Duratec V-6 engine producing 203 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to either a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a six-speed automatic transmission. The AWD models are equipped with self-leveling shocks that sense ride height and use energy from the vehicle's motion to raise the shock to the optimal ride level. Safety features on all Five Hundreds include four wheel anti-lock brakes and dual front air bags with head curtain air bags available as an option. Standard features include front fog lights, a six-disc CD changer, leather-seating surfaces and a universal remote transmitter. The Ford Five Hundred Limited AWD was introduced in 2005, and minor changes are expected in 2010.
