Overview

The redesigned 2007 Ford Expedition is available in three trim levels: XLT, Limited, and Eddie Bauer, with either 2WD or 4WD configurations. The redesign includes exterior styling based on the F-Series trucks, new interior features, and added standard safety features. Ford has added AdvanceTrac with RSC (Roll Stability Control) and three-row Safety Canopy side curtain air bags as standard equipment on all models. All Expedition models are powered by a 5.4L Triton V-8 engine that generates 300 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a new six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift capability. Ford has also added an extended length version of the Expedition that will offer increased seating and cargo capacity.
