Overview
The Ford Crown Victoria Standard last had a manufacturer update on 12/26/2006. For 2007, the Crown Victoria returns with only minor changes. It is now available in only two trims: Standard and LX. Changes for this year include a new Sport Handling and Performance Package on the LX, an AM/FM audio system with CD player and remote keyless entry system is now standard on all models, and a perimeter alarm system and daytime running lights are available on all models. The Crown Victoria is equipped with a 224 horsepower 4.6L V8 engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The Sport Handling and Performance Package include a free-flowing dual exhaust system that bumps up the engines ratings to 239 hp and 287 lb-ft of torque. Other available options include a six-disc CD changer, a power glass moonroof, heated outside mirrors, and traction control. The Ford Crown Victoria Standard saw minor changes in 1998; no information is currently available on upcoming changes..
