Overview

The Saab 9-3 returns for 2007 with little change. It remains available in six models: Base and Aero trims in sedan, convertible, and sports wagon bodystyles. The base 9-3 is powered by a 210-hp 2.0L turbocharged inline four- cylinder engine, while the Aero trim is equipped with a 2.8L turbocharged V6 engine producing 250 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Transmission choices have been revamped, now offering a five-speed manual, All engines are mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission with a five-speed automatic (Base models) or a six-speed automatic (Aero models) as options. Some updates for 2007 include a restyled interior, availability of OnStar, and XM satellite radio is standard on Aero and optional on Base.
