Overview

The Mercedes-Benz SL550 last had a manufacturer update on 04/01/2006. The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class returns this year available in four trim lines: SL55 AMG, SL65 AMG, SL600, and replacing the SL500 is the new SL550. New for 2007 is the front grille and chrome-trimmed fog lights for the exterior and the redesigned door sills and new upholstery colors for the interior. Standard amenities for all models include leather seats, hands-free communication system, SIRIUS satellite radio, and a powered retractable hardtop with remote control. A panorama moonroof and a navigation phone and radio voice control are available as options. Later in the year a 50th Anniversary edition of the SL roadster will be available. A limited production of the SL550 model will be offered in Pewter metallic with cognac brown leather, black ash interior wood and 18-inch wheels. The Mercedes-Benz SL550 was last redesigned in 2003, with minor changes expected again in 2009.
