Overview
The Kia Rio LX (Manual) last had a manufacturer update on 07/03/2007. The Rio and Rio5 return for 2007 with the addition of an SX sedan to its line-up. The Rio is now available in base, LX and SX sedan, as well as a Rio5 SX hatchback. Revisions for this year include updated alloy wheels design, new shift knobs for the manual and automatic transmissions, and an illuminated ignition surround has been added. The LX models also receive a new optional 16-inch alloy wheels and chrome accents have been added to the instrument panel air vents. The powertrain consist of a 110 hp 1.6L DOHC engine mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or an optional electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission. Other standard features on all models include full-length side curtain airbags, front-wheel disc brakes with brake assist, and a rear defroster. The Kia Rio LX (Manual) was last redesigned in 2006; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
