Overview
The Jaguar XJR last had a manufacturer update on 08/04/2006. The Jaguar XJ returns for 2007 offered in five trims: XJ8, XJ8L, Vanden Plas, XJR, and Super V8. The XJ8, XJ8 L, and Vanden Plas feature a 300 horsepower 4.2L V8 engine while the powerful XJR and Super V8 are equipped with a supercharged version of the 4.2L V8 and produces 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment on all models includes keyless remote entry, power moonroof, tire pressure monitor, and an automatic leveling suspension system. A navigation system, heated steering wheel, front parking sensors, and an Alpine AM/FM stereo with a six-disc in-dash CD changer are optional features on XJ8 and XJ8 L models. Optional packages on the Vanden Plas and XJR include the Multimedia Package and the Warm Climate Package. The Jaguar XJR was last redesigned in 2004, with minor changes expected again in 2011.
