Overview
The Jaguar X-Type last had a manufacturer update on 08/17/2006. The X-type returns for 2007 available in 3.0 sedan and Sportwagon models. Both models are equipped with a 3.0L supercharged V6 engine that generates 227 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque. The 3.0L V6 engine is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. New for this year, Dynamic Stability Control becomes standard on both models, power moonroof and split folding rear seats are now standard on the 3.0 sedan, and reverse park control becomes standard on the Sportwagen. Standard luxury amenities include automatic air conditioning, leather seating, wood trim, remote locking, and heated outside mirrors. A new Luxury Package replaces both the VDP Package and the Premium Package on the 3.0 sedan. Other available options include satellite radio, heated seats, a navigation system, and Bluetooth wireless technology. The Jaguar X-Type was introduced in 2005 and is scheduled to be retired in 2008.
