Overview

The 2007 Ascender returns this year with several changes. The 7-passenger model has been discontinued. The Ascender is now available in two models: S 2WD and S 4WD. Both models come equipped with a 291hp 4.2L engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. New as standard equipment is the tire pressure monitor system and six-spoke machined-finished alloy wheels replace painted wheels. All power conveniences, woodgrain interior trim, and roof rails are also standard features on both models. Optional packages available on the Ascenders include a Leather Package, LS Package, Luxury Package, and a Preferred Package. Also new for 2007 is Bering Blue Metallic replacing Adriatic Blue Metallic and Storm Gray Metallic replacing Graphite Gray Metallic.
