Overview

The Chevrolet Uplander Cargo Van last had a manufacturer update on 04/02/2007. The 2007 Chevy Uplander is available in four models, Cargo, LS regular and extended, and LT extended. Chevrolet designed the Uplander to have the looks of a Sport Utility Vehicle with the passenger room and interior versatility of a van. The Uplander is now powered by a 3.9L V-6 engine generating 240 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. Safety features on all models include four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, dual stage driver and passenger air bags, and optional side impact air bags. All passenger models offer a rear entertainment system that includes a DVD player and a flip-down LCD screen. A mobile Digital Media System made by PhatNoise will allow for the storage of music, movies, and other entertainment onto a 40-gigabyte hard drive. The Chevrolet Uplander Cargo Van was introduced in 2005 and is scheduled to be retired in 2009.
