Overview

The Chevrolet Impala SS last had a manufacturer update on 03/26/2007. Chevy's large sedan enters 2007 with only minor revisions and is available in several trims: LS, LT 3.5L, LT 3.9L, LTZ, and SS. The Impala's 3.5L engine is brand new for this year, while the 3.9L receives a new Active Fuel Management system. Standard equipment across the board includes side-impact airbags, a remote keyless entry system, the OnStar system, daytime running lights, and a theft-deterrent system. Available optional amenities include traction control, anti-lock brakes, a remote vehicle starter system, XM satellite radio, and rear flip-and-fold seats. Six-passenger seating can also be selected for an extra cost. Rounding off the list of changes are four new exterior colors: Precision Red, Blue, Bordeaux Red, and Red Jewel. The Chevrolet Impala SS was last redesigned in 2006 and the next major change is expected in 2011.
