Overview

The Chevrolet Corvette last had a manufacturer update on 04/02/2007. The Chevy C6 Corvette returns for 2007 with very minor changes. It remains available in both coupe and convertible bodystyles and also the Z06 coupe. The base coupe and convertible are powered by a 400 horsepower 6.0L V8 engine while the Z06 receives a more powerful 7.0L V8 engine that generates 505 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission but the base models are also available with an optional six-speed paddle shift automatic transmission. Other options on the base models include a Z51 Performance Package, dual removable roof panels (coupe only), and Magnetic Selective Ride Control. The Magnetic Selective Ride Control also includes larger cross-drilled brake rotors for this model year. The Chevrolet Corvette was last redesigned in 2005; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
