Overview

The M5 returns for 2007 powered by a 5.0L V10 engine producing 500 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. BMW's sports sedan features the first seven sequential gear transmission, as well as iDrive technology, which allows for up to 11 gear options. Boasting a superior power-to-weight ratio, acceleration from 0-60 is achieved at about 4.5 seconds. The M5 also features an M limited-slip differential, sport-tuned suspension with Electronic Damping Control (EDC), large M brakes, and two dynamic driving programs. Standard luxury amenities include automatic climate control, sport bucket seats, 18-inch premium wheels, and aluminum interior trim.
