Overview

The Buick Rainier CXL 2WD last had a manufacturer update on 03/06/2007. Available in 2WD and 4WD configurations, the Rainier returns for 2007 with no major changes. Buick's mid-size is powered by 291-hp 4.2 inline-six engine coupled to a four-speed automatic transmission. The Rainier also offers an optional 5.3L V8 engine, which produces 300 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque. Other optional amenities include a rear entertainment system, power pedals, a power glass moonroof, HD engineering enhancements, and several option packages. The Luxury Package includes heated seats and chrome assist steps, while the Cargo Convenience Package adds a cargo mat, a cargo net, and a cargo cover. The Buick Rainier CXL 2WD was introduced in 2004 and is scheduled to be retired in 2007.
