Overview

Honda's base sport vehicle storms into 2007 powered by a 237-hp 2.2L VTEC engine coupled to a torque-sensing six-speed manual transmission. The S2000 also equips a vehicle stability system, a drive-by-wire throttle system, independent double wishbone suspension, and power four-wheel disc brakes. Convenience amenities on this convertible include air conditioning, an air filtration system, a power soft top with a glass rear window, and 17-inch wheels. The standard audio system on the S2000 is an AM/FM stereo with a CD player, eight speakers, and XM-ready wiring. Rounding off the list of standard equipment is a host of safety features: daytime running lights, integrated roll bars, maintenance reminder system, and front and rear stabilizer bars.
