Overview
The Ford Expedition EL XLT 4WD last had a manufacturer update on 04/30/2007. For 2007, Ford adds an extended length model to the redesigned Expedition Lineup. The Expedition EL is available in three trim levels: Base, Limited, and Eddie Bauer, with either 2WD or 4WD configurations. The EL is 14.8 inches longer and has 20 cubic feet more cargo capacity behind the third row seat then the standard model. The redesign includes exterior styling based on the F-Series trucks, new interior features, and added standard safety features. Ford has added AdvanceTrac with RSC (Roll Stability Control) and three-row Safety Canopy side curtain air bags as standard equipment on all models. All Expedition models are powered by a 5.4L Triton V-8 engine that generates 300 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a new six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift capability. The Ford Expedition EL XLT 4WD was introduced in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
