Overview
The Toyota Camry Hybrid last had a manufacturer update on 07/25/2007. For 2007, Toyota introduces the all-new Camry Hybrid, boasting its Hybrid Synergy Drive system. This system features a 147-hp 2.4L I-4 Atkinson-cycle engine, a continuously variable transmission, a 40-hp high torque electric motor, and a compact battery and transaxle. Gas and electric power sources are often used together to muscle the car, but at times the Camry Hybrid will rely solely on its electric motor. Fuel efficiency has been estimated at 40 Hwy and 38 City and a rare ranking of Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle (AT-PZEV) has been bestowed upon the Camry Hybrid. Standard features include an air quality system, a tire-pressure monitoring system, Bluetooth technology, 16-inch aluminum wheels, and power seats. The Toyota Camry Hybrid was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
