Overview

The 2006 Sprinter Passenger Wagons and Cargo Vans are available in three different wheelbases and two ceiling heights, offering seating for eight to ten passengers. All models are powered by the Mercedes-Benz 2.7L in-line five-cylinder turbo diesel engine, which produces 154 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. With oil change intervals at 10K and engine maintenance intervals at 20K, Dodge touts the Sprinter as having one of the lowest operating costs. Options for the Sprinter include heated rain-sensing windshield wipers, front sliding windows, heated driver and passenger seats, and rear parking sensors. When ordered with Quick Order Package 22B, the Sprinter includes dual front and rear comfort headrests, dual manual lumbar support seat adjusters, and luxury bucket seats.
