Overview

Toyota's small SUV receives some room for 2006, adding 14 inches of length and larger cabin that now allows an available third-row seat. Available in 2WD or 4WD, the RAV4 is powered by either a four-cylinder engine or the late-arrival of the new 268-hp3.5L V6 engine. All three trims, Base, Sport, and Limited, will feature the Toyota Star Safety System, which equips the RAV4 with ABS brakes, an improved vehicle stability control, traction control, and brake assist. Side-impact air bags available optionally.
