Overview

The Hyundai Elantra returns for 2006 with a few minor changes. It is available in four models: GLS sedan and hatchback, GT hatchback, and Limited sedan. The new upscale Limited trim consist of woodgrain interior trim, leather seating surface, leather wrapped steering wheel and shift lever, chrome bodyside moldings and front grille, and fog lights. A new Premium Package is available on all trims and includes power sunroof, anti-lock brakes, and traction control. All models are equipped with a 138 horsepower 2.0L in-line four-cylinder engine mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard features on all models include an AM/FM stereo with CD player, cruise control, keyless entry system with alarm, and dual heated outside mirrors.
