Overview

The Honda Element returns for 2006 with a few minor changes. The Element is now available in three trims: LX, EX, and EX-P in either 2WD or 4WD configuration. The new EX-P trim is based on the EX trim but adds body-colored side panels and door handles. New features on the LX include metallic exterior cladding similar to the EX and anti-lock braking system. The EX also receives a few updates to its standard feature list that consist of new alloy wheels and steering wheel audio controls. All models are still equipped with a 156 hp 2.4L i-VTEC four cylinder engine mated to either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. New exterior colors include Alabaster Silver, Atomic Blue Metallic, Kiwi Metallic, and Rallye Red.
