Overview
The 2006 F150 is available in a variety of trim and body configurations, including five trim levels: SXT, XL, XLT, FX4, and Lariat, three cab choices: Regular Cab, Super Cab, and SuperCrew Cab, three truck bed lengths, and two truck bed styles. New for this model year is the availability of a Harley-Davidson Package on the Super Cabs, Sirius satellite radio on all trims except the XL, an XL Décor Package, and a Chrome Package on the XLT and Lariat. Other notable new optional features include 20-inch wheels on the FX4 and Lariat, traction control on 2WD V8 models, and Smokestone Metallic paint on the Lariat. A standard length truck bed on the SuperCrew, a flexible fuel 5.4L Triton V8 engine, and a new luxury package on the FX4 will be offered later in the model year.
