Overview
For 2006, the Dodge Ram 2500 returns with exterior enhancements and a new interior design. The Quad Cab is available in six models: ST, SLT and Laramie trim in 2WD or 4WD configurations. The Quad Cab is equipped with a 5.7L Hemi V-8 engine that generates 345 horsepower and 375 lb.-ft of torque. The optional Cummins 5.9L Turbo Diesel HO version boasts 325 horsepower and 610 lb-ft of torque. Premium features offered on all Quad Cabs include a full-screen GPS navigation system, rear-seat DVD entertainment system, power sliding rear window and bucket seats, UConnect hands-free communications system, and Infinity sound system. Two new exterior colors are available on the Ram Heavy Duty: Inferno Crystal Metallic and Light Khaki.
