Overview

The RSX returns for 2006 with no new changes. It remains available in two trims, Base and Type-S. Both models are equipped with a 2.0L four-cylinder engine with the Base model producing 155 hp and the Type-S generating 201 hp. The Base model engine can be mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic transmission with sequential sport shift. The Type-S comes standard with a six-speed close-ratio manual transmission. Standard equipment on all RSX includes sport seats, metallic sport gauges, a power moonroof, automatic climate control, a keyless remote entry system, and alloy wheels. Other features on the Type-S include perforated leather seats, and an Acura/Bose Music System with a stereo cassette and a six-disc CD changer.
