Overview

The 2006 Outlander returns with many changes. The Outlander adds a new trim line, the SE, with the return of the LS and Limited with either 2WD or AWD configurations. For improved safety, front seat-mounted, side-impact air bags and anti-lock brakes are standard features across the entire Outlander lineup for 2006. Exterior color choices include a two-tone effect on the LS with gray painted bumpers and side sills that offset the painted sheet metal. The SE and Limited trim levels receive a one-color treatment for the fender flares and side air dams, off set with clear tail light lenses. Electric Blue is a new exterior color for 2006 SE. The new SE ads a silver-tone lower side door bar, front grille insert, and roof rack. Also, a chrome-like finish 17" alloy wheels and exhaust on the SE.
