Overview
For 2007, the all-new Lexus LS is available in two trims: 460 and 460 L. This is the first time that the LS has been available in a long-wheelbase model. Both models are powered by an all-new 4.6L V8 that features electric-motor driven Variable Valve Timing with intelligence and Electronically controlled intake cam (VVT-iE). The engine is mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission and generates 380 hp and 367 lb-ft of torque. The long-wheelbase LS 460 L features 4.8 inches of additional space and standard conveniences, including navigation with XM satellite radio with real-time traffic, climate-controlled front seats, heated rear seats, a new heated steering wheel, power rear sunshade, a new one-touch open/close power trunk, power door closers, headlamp washers, and laminated side glass. The Lexus LS 460 was last redesigned in 2007; no information is currently available on upcoming changes.
