Overview

Dodge introduces the Nitro, an all-new mid-size SUV, to its 2007 line-up. Available trims include Base, SLT, and R/T, each offered in 2WD or 4WD configurations. The base and SLT are powered by a 210-hp 3.7L V6 engine, while the top of the line R/T boasts a 255-hp 4.0L V6 engine. Standard features across the board include anti-lock brakes, side-impact airbags, and an electronic stability program. The higher trims add the Load ‘n Go cargo floor feature, which slides 18 inches to provide easy loading and unloading of heavy cargo of up to 400 pounds. Available options on the Nitro include a DVD navigation system, a rear seat entertainment system, the UConnect communication system, a premium stereo with MP3 capability, and a satellite radio.
