Overview

The 2006 Toyota Avalon returns this year in four trims, the XL, Touring, XLS, and Limited. The Avalon comes equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine mated to a five-speed ECT-I automatic transmission with sequential shift. Standard features include front and rear side curtain airbags, dual zone auto climate control with air filtration, and power door locks with anti-lockout feature. Optional equipment for XLS and Limited models includes a color-keyed rear spoiler and voice-activated DVD navigation system. Optional equipment for XL and Touring models include a power moonroof with sliding sunshade, AM/FM cassette/six-disc in-dash CD changer with nine speakers, in-glass antenna, and the Homelink universal transceiver.
