Overview

The 4Runner returns for 2006 with a freshened exterior and added standard equipment. Available in 2WD or 4WD, Toyota's mid-size SUV has three trims levels, SR5, Sport, and Limited, and two engine choices, V6 or V8. Outside, the 4Runner receives a newly designed grille, front bumper, and body molding. The interior has been updated as well, including new seats on Sport and SR5 V8 models and wood trim on the Limited. The Optional Sport Package adds two-tone seat fabric, 17-inch alloy wheels, larger brakes, heated outside mirrors, and unique interior trim. Other available options include third row seating, a roof rack, a six-disc CD changer, side curtain airbags, rear air suspension, and a navigation system.
