Overview
The Grand Vitara is now available in one trimline, with three optional equipment packages; Premium, XSport, and Luxury. A 2.7-liter, 185-hp, V-6 engine powers the Grand Vitara. Standard equipment includes automatic climate control with air filtration, front and rear side-curtain airbags, SmartPass keyless entry and start system and the Electronic Stability Program with traction control. New for 2006 is a longer and wider interior space, a more powerful V-6 engine, and a full-time four-mode four-wheel drive system. The Luxury Package includes all equipment featured in the Premium and XSport packages and adds a sunroof, leather seating surfaces, woodgrain trim, HomeLink wireless control system, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
