Overview

The 2006 Nissan Murano is available this year in five models: S 2WD, S AWD, SL 2WD, SL AWD, and SE AWD. All models are powered by a 3.5-liter 245-horsepower V6 engine with an Xtronic CVT automatic transmission. Revisions for all 2006 models include a new wheel design, front grille, and an aluminum rear bumper protector. New for the SE model is a roof rail and new chrome accent side sills on the SL and SE models. Standard amenities include an advanced air bag system, an AM/FM/CD audio system with MP3 capabilities, a seven-inch LCD information monitor, and the newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels. Three new colors have been added this year, on the exterior Sunset Red and Brilliant Silver and Hazelnut for the interior.
