Overview

The 2006 S-Type is available in a 3.0L, 4.2L, and R trimline. New features for 2006 is the Conti-Teves braking system and new front-end style chrome mesh grille inserts. Standard features on all models include a six-speed automatic transmission, keyless remote entry, power moonroof, leather surface bucket seats, and Dynamic Stability Control. Optional equipment on the 3.0L and 4.2L models include a DVD-based navigation system, heated front seats, and Triton alloy wheels. The VDP Edition Package is available on the 4.2L model. The VDP Edition Package offers Walnut trim interior, leather seating, leather steering wheel, front and reverse park control, electric rear-window sunblind, automatic leveling xenon headlamps, and 17-inch Aurora wheels.
