Overview

For 2006, the Hyundai Santa Fe is carried over from the previous model year, though the line-up sees changes. Six models are available--Base, GLS 3.5 and Limited 2WD, and GLS 2.7, GLS 3.5 and Limited 4WD. Last year saw the addition of a new Borg-Warner designed 4WD system that features InterActive Torque Management. Changes on all Santa Fe models include black colored B and C pillars. The 3.5L V6 GLS now comes standard with an auto dimming rearview mirror with Homelink ® and compass. Additionally, the new top-of-the-line Limited offers standard automatic light control, leather seating, power heated front seats, chrome door handles, trip computer, and stainless steel scuff plates. A monochromatic black Appearance Package is optional on the Limited.
