Overview

Having undegone a substantial re-design last year, the CR-V returns for 2006 with no new changes. The CR-V remains available in three trims: LX, EX, and SE. All trims are equipped with all-wheel drive with the LX and EX as the only trims available in 2WD. All models are powered by a 156 hp 2.4L i-VTEC four-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. The EX is also available with a five-speed manual transmission. Standard features on all models include a keyless remote entry system, side impact air bags, and dual power outside mirrors. The SE receives additional features including body-colored exterior trim, heated outside mirrors, heated seats, and leather seats. There are two new exterior colors: Royal Blue Pearl and Alabaster Silver.
