Overview

For 2006, the Focus returns with little change. It is again available in several different bodystyles: a ZX3 three-door hatchback, a ZX4 four-door sedan, a ZX5 five-door hatchback, and a ZXW wagon. All bodystyles are available in either S, SE, or SES trims. The ZX4 is also available in ST trim and features a 151-hp 2.3L Duratec engine, which produces cleaner emissions. A 2.0L in-line four-cylinder engine producing 136 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque is standard on all other models. Optional equipment on the Focus includes traction control, side airbags, a power moonroof, and a premium sound system. Also available is the optional Sport Package, which features a tachometer, front fog lights, and a leather-wrapped sport steering wheel.
