Overview
Introduced last year as an all-new model, the Five Hundred returns for 2006 with little change. Available in 2WD or AWD configurations, the Five Hundred is offered in three trim levels: SE, SEL, and Limited. All models are powered by a 207 horsepower Duratec 3.0L V-6 engine mated to either a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard amenities on Ford's flagship sedan include anti-lock brakes, aluminum wheels, chrome interior trim, keyless entry remote, power convenience features, and cruise control. SEL and Limited trims upgrade by adding front fog lights, a six-disc CD changer, leather-seating surfaces, the Homelink garage door system, and memory convenience features.
