Overview

For 2006 the Chrysler Town & Country is available in four models: Base, LX, Touring, and Limited. A 3.3-liter, V-6 engine, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission, powers the Base and LX models. The Touring and Limited models are powered by a 3.8-liter V-6 engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include driver-side inflatable knee blocker, keyless remote entry and a tire pressure monitoring system. Available options for Touring and Limited models include power sunroof, SIRIUS satellite radio, and hands-free communication. New for this year is the BeltAlert system for driver and front passenger, and the CD/DVD changer has been modified to play any CD or DVD.
