Overview
The Z4 returns for 2006 fully redesigned and is now available in three models: 3.0i and 3.0si convertible and 3.0si coupe. BMW fits their roadster with two new engines, a 215-hp 3.0L six-cylinder engine and a high-out put version producing 255 horsepower and 220 lb-ft or torque. Other key revisions include new six-speed manual and automatic transmissions, more powerful brakes, standard 17-inch wheels, an enhanced traction control system, and a redesigned exterior and interior. An optional Premium Package adds auto-dimming mirrors, power memory seats, automatic climate control, extra storage, and the BMW Assist system. Other available options include Xenon headlights, heated seats, a Navigation system, full leather seats, and a Sport Package.
