Overview

The Sorento returns for the 2006 model year with little change. The Sorento is available in four trims: LX and EX trim in 2WD or 4WD configurations. New for this model year, the LX models come equipped with standard alloy wheels. All models are powered by a 3.5L 192 hp V6 engine mated to either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. Standard features on all models include air conditioning, cruise control and power windows, door locks, and mirrors. The EX models are upgraded with a power sunroof, eight-way power driver's seat, auto dimming rear view mirror, Homelink transmitter, and front fog lights. Also available on the EX is a Luxury Package that includes leather trim, automatic climate control, and a Delphi premium sound system with in-dash 6-disc CD changer.
