Overview

Completely redesigned last year, the Spectra and Spectra5 enters 2006 with little change. It is available in three trims: EX sedan, SX sedan, and Spectra5 Hatchback. All Spectra are equipped with a 2.0L 132 horsepower engine mated to either a five-speed manual or a new four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The four-speed automatic transmission is lighter in weight and durability and operation have improved. Floor mats and cabin air filter are now standard on all models. Other standard features on all models include air conditioning, a rear window defroster, an AM/FM stereo with CD, and dual front airbags. Available options on the EX sedan include speed control and a rear spoiler. Additional include ABS brakes, and power glass moonroof.
