Overview

The Hyundai Accent sedan returns for 2006 as an all-new model. The three door version will be available in the spring of 2006 as a 2007 model. The Accent will be offered in a single GLS trim. The new Accent is now 1.8 inches longer, 1.0 inch wider, and 3.o inches taller then the 2005 model. The result is an interior volume that has increased from 100.9 cubic feet to 104.6 cubic feet. The Accent is powered by a new 1.6L DOHC in-line four-cylinder engine with CVVT. The engine generates 110 hp and 106 lb-ft of torque. Standard features consist of variable intermittent front wipers, cabin air filtration, and a 172-watt am/FM/CD audio system with six speakers. Standard safety features include four-wheel disc brakes with ABS and EBD and front, side, and roof-mounted curtain airbags.
