Overview

The Volvo S60 enters 2006 available in four models: 2.5T, 2.5T AWD, T5, and the 300-hp R. The 2.4 trim has been discontinued, leaving all S60's turbo-charged. The 2.5T AWD receives a new all-wheel drive system with Instant Traction and Haldex technology. Simplified package and option choices round out the list of changes for this year. The optional Sport Package features sport seats, 17-inch premium wheels, and a geartronic automatic transmission. A Climate Package can also be selected, offering heated seats, headlight washers, and rainsensor wipers. Other extra cost amenities include metallic paint, satellite radio, a DVD-based navigation system, an air quality system, a Sport Body Package, and bi-xenon HID headlights.
